Completion

The day of Completion is the day the property becomes yours.

On the morning of your completion date, your solicitor will transfer the remaining money to the seller's solicitor via their bank accounts. This is a telegraphic transfer.
When the seller's solicitors receive confirmation from their bank that the money has cleared, they call us and we can release the keys to you and you can move in.
Usually this takes place between 11 am and 3 pm.

The seller's solicitor then sends your solicitor the Deeds to your property. Your solicitor registers your title.
